Why 20 coins?

Why 20 gold coins? This year Small Luxury Hotels of the World™ is celebrating twenty golden years of effectively providing astute travellers with unparalleled service in unique luxury hotels around the world. And we want our 20th Anniversary to be as special to you as it is to SLH and its family of outstanding hotels – more than 520 boutique hotels in 70 fascinating countries.

Since SLH was launched in 1991 with just 75 hotels it has expanded by a staggering 600%. Our reservations continue to increase impressively year-on-year; Facebook fans number around 35,500; Twitter attracts over 4,500 followers; the SLH iPad and iPhone App has seen around 68,000 downloads; and Melissa Vinelli, our very own ‘adventurer’ who joined the ranks of SLH this year, continues to pass on tales of her SLH luxury travel breaks via the SLH Blog. Our SLH Gift Certificates continue to prove popular; membership of The Club is on the rise; and to celebrate our 20th Anniversary this year – twenty years of luxury – we have produced a special glitzy coffee table SLH Directory. As you can see, Small Luxury Hotels of the World™ certainly has a lot to celebrate – and, during our 20th Anniversary year, we’d like to share our success with you… in the form of our Gold Coin Competition.

I am very proud to say that 2011 is our 20th Anniversary, and to celebrate 20 years of luxury I am delighted to announce the launch of our amazing Gold Coin Competition – play it, and you could win a prize of a lifetime… in fact, many prizes will be awarded throughout the 20th Anniversary Year of Small Luxury Hotels of the World™.

Here is your chance to be part of a luxury experience… to take part in a treasure hunt for Gold Coins in a search for luxury. Scattered around the SLH website, and all our social media spaces, you will discover a hoard of gold coins. How will you find them? Over time, clues will be given, hints will be dropped, and our own SLH ‘adventurer’, Melissa Vinelli, will also be pointing you in the direction of the hidden treasure. You just can’t afford to miss the 20th Anniversary SLH Gold Coin Competition. It will be fun… it will be rewarding… it will be enjoyed – by YOU, especially if you win!

Find one coin and the fun begins – you’ll immediately be eligible for a prize draw.
